Veterans Services – Small Business Bootcamp

Business Forward is Oakland County’s new initiative to provide resources and services to small businesses in cooperation with community-based organizations so companies can thrive and grow. Oakland County’s Department of Veteran Services proudly supports those who have served our country.

As a result, Oakland County’s Department of Veteran Services is partnering with Business Forward, to offer Business Bootcamp! A day-long series of business workshops to help entrepreneurs move their Business Forward.

Topics include:

• How to start a business and writing a business plan
• Marketing your business
• Resources for hiring Veterans
• Business finance 101 and gaining access to capital
• Small business Resources for veterans
• Gaining certification as a veteran-owned business
• …And more!
