"Boots to Business" Veterans Conference Scheduled For December 6, 2012 In Tucson

There will be a “Boots to Business” Veterans Conference on December 6, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Tuscon Police Department, Westside Service Center located at 1310 West Miracle Mile, Tuscon, Arizona.  Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

The event kicks off with opening remarks from Mayor Jonathan Rothschild, followed by Major Jeffrey Donato from Davis Monthan Air Force Base.  Martha McSally, a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel is the keynote speaker.  The day will also feature a small business panel discussion on what to do to start or grow your business, financing workshops, testimonials from successful veteran business owners and a session on government contracting.

The theme for the event is T.E.A.M.S which equals “Together Everyone Achieves More.”
