Welcome to the 2022 State Guard Association United States (SGAUS) Annual Conference in Albany, New York.
Beginning on Thursday, 17 November, events will include information and/or training for MEMS, Engineering, Cyber, Communications, Public Affairs, JAG, Chaplain, and other SGAUS Academies. Saturday’s (19NOV) events include a nation-wide communications exercise for all State Defense Forces worldwide, and an all-comers Cyber competition available to all SDF, Title 10, and National Guard Communications units.
Attendance to all training events requires conference registration of $175. Tickets for the Military Ball only are available for $75. Follow the link for tickets to register for all events, and see Schedule-At-A-Glance (below) for planned session times. Registration includes:
- All training and information sessions on Friday morning/afternoon, 18 November (UPAR/PAO, Chaplain, Engineering, JAG, Medical, and MEMS;
- SGAUS President’s Reception
- Commanders and Senior NCO Forums;
- CommEx and Cyber observations;
- Keynote by Dr. Barry Stentiford, Professor of History and Director, Advanced Strategic Leadership Studies Program at the US Army School of Advanced Military Studies at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas;
- Panel discussion of SDF commanders on the future of state defense forces;
- General Membership meeting;
- Military Ball (Saturday evening)
- Chaplains Service (Sunday morning)
