3rd ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY SWEATRAISER

WHEN: May 29, 2023
WHERE: 36th & Atlantic, Virginia Beach, VA – ON THE BEACH
WHAT: Sweatraiser (run, walk, outdoor activities – on the walking path and in the sand) as a fundraiser for Forging Forward, The Bobby Henline Foundation. The 3rd Annual Sweatraiser will raise funds in remembrance of those men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in support of our great nation. The proceeds will help save future lives of military veterans suffering from PTSD, anxiety, and a host of other trauma-related issues and bring awareness to veteran suicide. 100% of donations go to the foundation.
TIME: 8:00 AM EST – Welcome and Instruction. Event expected to end around 10:00-10:30 AM EST.
8:00 AM: Relay Race. Come join us, bring your family, friends, military family, your dog, your uncle! More activities planned for the beach!
WATER: Water will be available, you are welcome to bring your own non-alcoholic drinks.
COST: FREE! Donations are appreciated and highly encouraged and will be collected at the event site. If you are not able to give, come on out and join the fun anyway!
DONATE: Scroll down and scan the QR Code. Donations are taken via Square, that can accept Cash App, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or credit card.
FORMAT: This is a fun day for families, friends, co-workers, battle buddies, miliary active duty and veterans, etc. Come on out and do some walking, running, and participating in fun group activities!
REGISTRATION: Please register on EventBrite so that we know an idea of the number and sizes of t-shirts to purchase. Shirts will be available if you provide your size – if not, they will be passed out as first come, first serve.
DRESS: Watch the weather and dress accordingly. It will get hot really fast on the beach if the sun is expected to shine. Bring sunscreen and wear cool clothing – you will sweat!
NOTE: A ticket from Eventbrite IS NOT required, but will reserve a t-shirt for you IF you provide your size by emailing your Eventbrite ticket number and t-shirt size to sweatraiser757@gmail.com.
