The 5th Annual Ballard Community Fund Benefit Dinner will take place on Friday June 17, 2022 from 6-10pm. Tickets are $125 each and in accordance with IRS guildlines are fully deductible as a donation.

The Ballard Community Fund was created in 2017 through the Delaware Community Foundation following the line of duty death of my late husband, Corporal Stephen Ballard. Your support is appreciated and will allow us to continue providing grants in perpetuity to local non-profits. Stephen was a state trooper for 8 years when he was fatally shot on April 26, 2017. He was a kind and warm hearted person who was always giving back and helping the community. This Fund and the organizations we support are a testament to keeping his legacy alive by helping others in need.

On this the 5th anniversary of Stephen’s death we decided to honor 2 non-profits that help families who have been affected by gun violence and provide education about gun safety!
