Balakian VA Kids Shopping Spree

The Fresno Kiwanis club has committed to provide a $15,000 to this year’s program. These donations, in addition to others from the community, provided a winter coat, sweater/sweatshirt, and shoes for the winter months. We will meet at Burlington Coat Factory in Clovis with a volunteer host as a “Personal Shopper” on December 4, 2021.

These shopping spree events provide an amazing, beautiful experience for all who participate. The children were extremely excited and entirely grateful. This year’s goal is to raise $150 for each of the more than 100 children currently in the program. Our clubs shares a deep commitment to “Improving the lives of children in one community at a time.” To honor both this commitment and those who have fought for our freedom but including the next generation.

We are requesting your organization pledge a $1,000 or more. Additionally, we are humbly request from your constituent businesses to pledge their support. These Veteran children require our support as it is our honor and privilege to help and assist those who have served us so faithfully! Checks should be made out to: Fresno Kiwanis Foundation and should include a note to be applied to the VA Homeless Veterans program. The foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation (Tax ID# is 41-134948). On behalf of the Children, thank you for your support.
