Originally conceived as Steer Auction Steak Night, prompted by the donation of a steer purchased at Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, BOOTS & HEROES 5th Annual Military Appreciation Dinner & Dance has grown into a highly sought after ticket to celebrate the military community with a delicious steak dinner, raffle, silent auction, live music for dancing from the lively, local, & amazing RICH O’TOOLE, and the honoring of a distinguished local veteran. BOOTS & HEROES has chosen Combined Arms, Operation Red Wings Foundation, and VFW 8790 as beneficiaries for 2023, with the mission for each organization below:
COMBINED ARMS – deliver innovative technology solutions that optimise connection to resources and drive network-wide efficiencies, ultimately improving the quality of life for veterans and military families
OPERAITON RED WINGS FOUNDATION – provide veterans and their families with a path to healing from their invisible wounds
VFW8790 – to foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts, to serve veterans, the military, and our community, and to advocate on behalf of all veterans
