Bring your whole family to share an afternoon of fun and creative activities, especially designed for our military and veteran community.
At ComMotion, we believe the arts are a wonderful way to build new communities that are physically, mentally, and spiritually healthy. Join us for an afternoon of activities guided by 5 exciting themes: Our connection with our heritage, ourselves, nature, our family, and our community. We’ll keep the fun going with lots of variety – some activities will be together for all ages, whereas others will be customized separately for adults and kids. During breaks between activities, you’ll enjoy complimentary refreshments with your family.
Don’t miss this family-friendly morning of learning, self-expression, and fun!
Military families, including adults and children over age 5 are welcome! Activities are suitable for all abilities.
Program goals and objectives:
- Provide artistic and healthy tools for military families.
- To help recognize the importance of personal, family, and community history.
- Facilitate a creative space to weave a diverse and inclusive community network that contributes to healthy lives and relationships.
- To bring together resources available in the area with the military & veteran community.
