Colorado Veterans in Advanced Energy Networking Event

August 26 @ 5:00 am - 7:00 pm CDT

Join the Atlantic Council’s Veterans Advanced Energy Project for the first *in-person* Colorado Veterans in Advanced Energy Networking Event

About this event

Description

Veterans, servicemembers, military family members, and others in the broader national security community are invited to join us for refreshments, networking, and discussion groups led by local leaders in the advanced energy sector.

Veterans across the country have found rewarding personal and professional opportunities in the rapidly changing energy sector. Advanced energy will continue to provide new growth and innovation opportunities as new technologies grow exponentially, ranging from microgrids to solar panels, and utilities and businesses respond to new goals for a carbon-free economy.

Our speakers will share their experiences and perspectives on opportunities for entrepreneurship, resilience in a low-carbon energy system, employment in energy and the geopolitics of energy transitions. There will be opportunities for small-group discussions on each topic. Refreshments will be provided.

Join us *in person* for an opportunity to meet and converse with these speakers and peers from the extended veteran community interested in the energy system. We politely ask guests to observe CDC guidelines for COVID-19. If you are not feeling well or have symptoms, please stay home.
