CWR Men’s March 2021 Retreat – For Veterans and First Responders

CWR is a non-denominational Christian Retreat with the mission of seeking healing and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. The retreat begins Thursday evening and ends Sunday afternoon. We anticipate God’s hand in growing the CWR ministry beyond a few retreats a year and to other corners of our great nation.

What to Expect

CWR is designed for Veterans and First Responders; those that have or are serving. During the four day retreat, you will experience music, worship, speakers, and participate in small groups where you will experience the love and grace of God through acts of service.

FAQs

Is this for all Veterans and First Responders? Do I need to show my DD214 or other proof of service?

Yes, this is for all Veterans of all eras and branches, and for all past and present First Responders that have served either as a career or voluntarily. This particular retreat is for males only. You do not need to provide your DD214 or any other proofs of service.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to the event?

We ask that if you find funding for your flight, all flights must come into San Antonio prior to 3 pm on the Thursday of retreat.  If you need transportation to the retreat center from the SA airport, please let us know at least a week prior to the retreat. You may park your vehicle at the retreat center or your family is welcome to drop you off, then pick you up on Sunday.  We offer a service at the retreat chapel for your family members at 7 pm on Thursday. The return flight should be scheduled to depart the SA airport no earlier than 4 pm on Sunday.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

We ask that you don’t bring anything that will cause a distraction on retreat to you or others. This is an alcohol and drug free event. A packing list of “what to bring” will be emailed to you prior to the retreat.
