Emerging Leaders Program – 101

Your Grand Lodge officers recognize the need to prepare the future leaders for our Masonic Fraternity. The Education & Public Relations Committee is providing this state-of-the-art leadership training to the members of subordinate Lodges, York Rite Bodies and Chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star. This group of individuals will be better prepared to move into leadership positions within the fraternity or continue to sharpen those leadership skills they have already acquired.
The first course, Leadership 101, explores general leadership concepts. This intense, one-day workshop will feature state-of-the-art information including concepts from Stephen Covey’s “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People;” Joel Barker’s “The Power of Wisdom” as well as “The Business of Paradigms;” and John Palmer’s “Brutal Truths about Masonic Leadership.”
The Leadership 101 Conference is open to all Master Masons and ladies of the Eastern Star in good standing. The Conference will be October 17th at the Birmingham Metro York Rite Center located at 3439 Ratliff Road in Birmingham.
The Leadership Conference schedule is from 8:00 am until noon, and 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. The registration investment is $15.00, and includes a box lunch.
