Join us as we host and celebrate Empowering Veterans NYC 2023 at Columbia University! All attendees will have unrestricted access to our shared network, discussions about career opportunities along with personal well-being, and a celebration with other Veterans as the crescendo to Veterans Day!

Student Veterans from Columbia University’s CSVA, Cornell University’s Executive Student Veterans, and NYU’s Stern Veterans have teamed up to create an event that will support and celebrate our Veterans the day before Veterans Day!

Empowering Veterans NYC is focused on creating a transformative and uplifting experience for ALL Student Veterans communities by actively supporting them through their academic and professional journey, enabling them to not only chase their passions but also to excel in their chosen endeavors. This event includes a Welcome Evening Reception on Thursday, November 9th, and panel events with networking opportunities on Friday, November 10th.

Veterans and supporters from ALL schools and programs are welcome at this event!

With interactive live industry panels (transitioning, finance, tech), discussions on mental health and resiliency, and one-on-one chats with distinguished Veterans excelling in their respective fields, our primary aim is to provide comprehensive education for attendees on sector-specific entry strategies and professional development, while holistically supporting our veterans’ personal growth.
