Equinox Festival | Riverfront Park

Equinox Festival 2021 is a community event to experience Puerto Rican food & culture while learning about the issues surrounding Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Minority service members and veterans disproportionately experience Military Sexual Trauma, retaliation from their chains of commands, retaliatory discharges that bar them from benefits which leads to increases in homelessness, substance abuse, mental health conditions, and suicide. Congress has failed to act. Come learn about the stories of veterans who experienced Military Sexual Trauma, the history showcasing why Latinx service members are at the highest risk, and how we as a community can protect the next generation of young people who will enter the U.S. Military.

During this event, you will experience life in the Hudson Valley, Puerto Rican culture, local artists, digital art, provocative political art, a yacht ride on the Hudson River, food, drinks, and 420.

The park is available to everyone at no cost, however, we require pre-registration for the event. Yacht excursion requires tickets. Pre-registration discounts available up until the week before the event.

LGBTQIA, Pet friendly, disability-friendly, all ages welcome with the exception of the Yacht Rides. Must be 21 years or older and must provide state or federal ID with your e-ticket to ride on the yacht.

Masks and social distancing required. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
