IVMF is dedicated to meeting you where you are at on your entrepreneurship journey. The Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University, is hosting a series of weekly webinars in collaboration with the RISE (Resilience, Innovate, Sustain, Evaluate) program hosted by the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship. With facilitation from subject matter experts, this virtual networking event will focus on providing veteran and military spouse owned businesses the opportunity to network and discuss challenges, ideas for opportunities, resources, etc.
Join us Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. EST for a unique, open forum conversation where our experts and your fellow veteran businesses owners will help you work through some of the challenges your business is currently experiencing. This collaborative session will include best practices and lessons learned from peers in the military-connected entrepreneurship space, as well as actionable items you can start right away to help your business thrive into 2021.
About RISE Program:
Pivoting your company’s business model during this challenging time could mean the difference between your company’s continuity or closure. R.I.S.E. is a virtual, bootcamp-style program focused on sustainability and tackles head-on topics such as the financial, operational, strategic planning and communication challenges small businesses are facing during these unprecedented times.
Hosted by the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, part of Florida State University’s College of Business, and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at Syracuse University, R.I.S.E. is a six-week program dedicated to military-connected business owners. Over the course of six weeks, participants will walk away with the tools and training needed to continue to pivot and grow their business during these challenging times.
