Join us for lunch and a presentation on “Empowering Students who are Veterans”. With close to 600 veterans, service members and their families on our campus you more than likely work with or teach these great students. The “Got Your 6” program is an opportunity to learn more about military culture, understand the veteran’s transition process, and develop retention and support strategies.
Dave Millet, a 25 year Army veteran and Director of the Veterans Resource Center; Alan Basham, Navy Corpsman in Vietnam and former lecturer in the Psychology Department, and Dr. Amanda Reedy, Chair Social Work, will guide this discussion.
