The nonprofit, Before the Transition, is proud to announce the 1st year celebration of its annual “Honor a Military Veteran Christmas Dinner,” which will take place on December 3, 2023, at the Corporate Room, Wildomar, California. The HMV Awards is the Foundation’s hallmark, celebrating veterans and a fundraiser for the Memorial Honor Detail. They began operation in 1996 due to the downsizing of the United States military. The veterans are unselfishly performing these services for the fallen soldier’s families, and many people don’t know about these outstanding veterans.

The event is a black tie/formal or uniform attire for veterans from all military branches. Veterans will be awarded in five (7) categories: WWI/WWII, Vietnam (Legacy). The Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard are the armed forces of the United States—the first four from each category will be awarded.

Nominated names and military branches who are active or retired with an honorary discharge must be received by 11/18/23, with a short paragraph explaining why you want to nominate this honorary veteran.
