About Our Instructor

Jon Hobbs PhD is Director of IP Solution a boutique intellectual property law firm helping founders secure patents, trademarks, and copyrights. He has over 10 years of international experience in intellectual property law, specializing in software and electronic arts, especially artificial intelligence and big data processing. He is a registered patent practitioner with the USPTO and holds a PhD in Neuroscience and Physics from Indiana University Bloomington. Jon is fluent in Japanese, which gives him an edge in handling complex and diverse cases across different jurisdictions and cultures.
