Interwoven: Tomahawk Forging Workshop

Wherever humans have gone in the world, they have carried with them two essentials, language and fire. Since primal days humans have used fire as a means of survival whether it be for warmth, meals, or socializing. Come join The Station for an evening of forging and find new benefits associated with gathering around the fire. Enjoy the crackling sounds as you build community with your comrades, begin to slow down and relax, and find stillness in challenging moments.

Through this small group workshop, Service Members will take a billet of steel and forge it into a tomahawk. Led by expert instructor and blacksmith, Nathan Walker, you will learn hand forging, striking, punching, drifting and heat treating. We invite active duty and veteran Service Members to get connected with our local Station community through this experience.
