Want to learn more about the military lifestyle? Interested in meeting others? Being thrust into a new community and military culture can lead to endless questions from “Does my spouse’s rank apply to me?” to “How should I prepare for their upcoming deployment?”

On your journey to discover the answers to these questions and better acclimate to a new community, attend Lifestyle Insights, Networking, Knowledge and Skills Training, also known as L.I.N.K.S Foundations.

L.I.N.K.S. is an interactive acculturation program to Marine Corps life and the local installation where participants learn about Corps history, traditions and rank; local installation resources, services, and benefits; military pay; separation and deployment; communication styles; and how to invest in the community and themselves.

L.I.N.K.S. Foundations is open to all base patrons and parents of service members. Those who complete every session can receive a certificate, and become eligible to serve as a L.I.N.K.S. Mentor. Volunteer positions available!! Can’t find a sitter? Children are always welcome.

L.I.N.K.S. Certification is required for all L.I.N.K.S. Mentors and Unit Personal Family Readiness Program Volunteers.
