About this event
Event:
Hosted by the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast (EDC), Launches, Lagers & Vets aims to create a platform that facilitates networking and job opportunities for veterans, transitioning service members and military spouses in an informal and welcoming atmosphere.
Purpose:
The primary purpose of the event is to bridge the gap between the military talent pool and employers on the Space Coast. By facilitating these connections, we aim to retain and attract highly skilled military personnel to Brevard County, fostering a thriving and diverse workforce in the region.
Event Highlights:
- Engaging Networking Sessions: Attendees will have the chance to connect with representatives from various industries and companies actively seeking to hire for their open positions.
- Job Seeker Support: Job seekers are strongly encouraged to bring their up-to-date resumes or email your resume to the EDC before the event. This enables us to share resumes with employers in advance, enhancing the likelihood of successful matches.
- Employer Opportunities: Employers are encouraged to have an idea of open requisitions in their workplace, create a referral pathway for participants at the event and be ready to provide informational interviews, this will enable employers to successfully identify potential candidates at the event.
