Lecture: Skiing Off to War – Aurora (Colorado) History Museum

Flint Whitlock discusses the 10th Mountain Division and their impact on the state of Colorado. The son of a 10th Mountain Division veteran, Denver-based Flint Whitlock is an award-winning military historian and author of 14 books, 10 of which deal with World War II. He leads battlefield tours in Europe for the Smithsonian, lectures on Viking cruises, has appeared in numerous TV documentaries, and is the editor of WWII Quarterly magazine.
