Masquerade for Hope

BEHIND EVERY MASK IS A PERSON WHO HAS SOMETHING TO SHARE

You are cordially invited to our Masquerade for Hope Gala an event to raise funds for housing as well as mental and physical health services for our Veterans that are suffering from poverty.

If America is home of the brave, why are the brave homeless? Since March 2021, UScension by CharaCare, a grassroots group of caring friends & volunteers, have assisted in moving more than 40 Veterans off the streets.

Imagine creating a thriving world TOGETHER that empowers self-sufficiency through a caring community. Together we rise, healing the planet by healing the people.

Hosted by the dynamic duo, Brandy Gray/ UScension & Michelle J Patterson/ California Women’s Conference, along with a passionate team of women and volunteers.

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s fundraising event will feature a health & wellness expo combined with a unique Mastermind Program, aimed at bringing our community together to brainstorm solutions for the challenges we face. Following this, we will continue the festivities with a collaboration & cocktail party, a delicious dinner, and then a PARTY to celebrate our shared vision for a brighter future. Join us for an evening of fun, inspiration, and collaboration as we work towards providing our veterans with the support and resources they need to thrive

The theme will embrace “A Message of Hope,”  and we encourage our guests to write a message of hope on our Veterans Hope Wall that will be displayed at the Gala.

Get ready to be inspired, uplifted, and transformed as you immerse yourself in this vibrant community of women & men, all working towards the common goal.

Our Vision: A world where everyone has access to the resources and support needed to thrive and lead fulfilling lives.

Our Mission: To build a thriving, sustainable housing community & retreat center that integrates permaculture design and holistic wellness programs, equipping veterans with the tools they need to reintegrate into society, achieve self-sufficiency and lead fulfilling lives.

Target Raise Operating Capital for gwfbob.org: $100,000

This will provide operating capital to continue our work together through our recently launched non-profit the Global Women Foundation & Band of Brothers.

Target Raise Healing Center Land Acquisition: $490,000

Target Raise Echo Bravo Camp Phase II Launch: $500,000

Launching of Phase II will allow us to make an immediate impact for our Veterans and will provide a solid foundation for future phases of the project, allowing us to support these veterans while the project grows and evolves over time.

In Phase II, priority will be given to building a more suitable retreat space and establishing the necessary approvals and infrastructure for a 41-acre property with zoning clearance for the first 21,414 square feet in Ventura county.

This will involve providing the necessary facilities and amenities to support the veterans and their transition and serve as a means of providing training and employment opportunities while giving us the ability to raise funds for the project’s future phases through community and fundraising events.

Detailed breakdown and donation-in-kind opportunities are available.

Background: In Los Angeles, there are approximately 4,000 unhoused veterans. The county VA plans to address this need with 1,200 housing units on the VA grounds. These units will not be completed until 2031 and in the meantime, leaves over 3000 vets sleeping on the streets. Our mission at UScension is to see that NO veteran remains without a home.

UScension by CharaCare: Since March 2021, CharaCare has provided support and supplies and assisted in the transition of 40 veterans off of Vets Row in Brentwood CA. (See video below) UScension Link Tree

California Women’s Conference: The California Women’s Conference aims to inspire and empower women to reach their full potential and make a positive impact in their communities.
