MilCountry Meetup 4
October 8 @ 6:00 am - 9:00 pm CDTFree
About this event
Whether you are a friend of, or part of the Greater Military Community, you are welcome; Active Duty, Guard/Reserves, Retired, Family Member (care giver), Transitioning or Stable, or just have a heart for the Greater Military Community.
We will meet at the Rough Diamond Brewery to reconnect and grow the network of those in the Texas Hill Country or adjacent to it (so all you San Antonio and Austin folk are welcome too). RDB has a spacious outdoor area, with 12 of the best beers you’ve ever had (IPAs, Lagers, Hefeweizen, Stouts, and more) and they now have a gourmet chef who just shifted to a catering business on sight!
This is the first time most folks will be gathering post COVID-19 Lock Down, please be courteous; if you are unwell, are at risk, or around those who are at risk take that into account when evaluating your attendance against the current situation at the end of this month. Follow the group guidelines for the venue (they are posted by table)
There’s enough space to host 150+ people & still maintain some distancing!
Now with great food: https://kalocatering.com/

The LinkedIn MilCountry Group is where the Military City USA (MilCity) meets the Hill Country!Started in June 2019, with the vision to export the heart and activities ongoing in the MilCityUSA (San Antonio) to the Hill Country of South Texas, we are a Military Community centered group, but professionally focused, and trying to provide personal networking and mutual support.
The goal is to bring the greater military community together with businesses, leaders & all people or organizations with a heart for our Service Members (past & present and their families)! The MilCountry group meets periodically (with a goal monthly) to provide an opportunity for Active Duty & Transitioning Military, Spouses, Family members, Veterans, Mentors, Business Leaders (Recruiters, Hiring Managers, Entrepreneurs), Non-Profits, & Veteran Service Organizations in the Hill Country of Texas to gain friendship, mentorship, their next opportunity in life, & mutual support in a casual, relaxed, welcoming environment!
The ideal is to b a non-sponsored group “Powered by the people – for the people” just like the LINKEDIN MILCITY GROUP (https://www.linkedin.com/groups/12171037/) that MilCountry was born from. Check us out on FB: https://www.facebook.com/groups/MilCountry/ Please join us and engage!!!
