Soldiers Freedom Outdoors created to help our military veterans men and women to relax and connect to one another. This retreat is located in Melrose (Clay county) Soldier freedom Outdoor has 4 bedroom home, horses, pond where we can take a canoe / Kayaks, and fishing to Relax. Soldier Freedom Outdoor provides weekend retreats for our military men and women and opportunities for our military children.

Our retreats provide eco-therapy (healing through nature). Nature brings calm, balance and connection into the lives or our heroes. Connecting more with nature can help improve depression, lower blood pressure, improve self-esteem, and gain resilience. https://www.soldiersfreedomoutdoors.org/

This event is to get a small taste of what Soldiers Freedom Outdoor has to offer and to connect our military families with Hope4veterans. June, July August and September Soldiers Freedom outdoors also offer Water days and guess what its all FREE!! In July for water days Hope4veterans will be sponsoring that event.

Hope4veterans welcomes you to come explore the retreat but also come out enjoy your self and family with relaxation and self care activities. Starting at 10am and at 11am Soldier Freedom Outdoors offers ($25) Horseback riding for 6 . Total 12 riders if interested RSVP. Soldiers Freedom outdoor offers 1 Canoe, 3 Kayaks to go onto pond with (Must wear lifejacket) Even though Water activities and horseback is limited, Hope4veterans will be offering Icebreaker events in the morning during those times for the Whole family. After Lunch we will have Kids activities and Family Activities (Art, education and so much more)

10 am Hope4veterans offers Ice breaker events to connect our families and learn more about one another. In the morning its activities for the whole family After Lunch we offer Break out Sessions for Kids and for Adults. The event goes from 10 am to 4pm.
