About this event
Join Gina Wilkes for safe and effective movement, mindfulness, and breathing techniques to support health, resilience, and personal growth. You’ll be able to take these techniques with you outside of this class to help alleviate stressors at any time. Wear comfortable clothes, and bring a mat, towel, and/or cushion on which to sit.
If you are new to movement classes, mindfulness, and breathing techniques, this class will provide a comfortable space to introduce you to these practices. This program is open to anyone who has ever served in the military and a guest. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. The 45-minute class begins promptly at 6:00 PM.

About Gina
Gina Wilkes became a certified Warriors at Ease (WAE) yoga teacher in December 2016. She completed additional WAE training in January 2017 to guide meditation. She was led to do this work after participating in the #22Kill push-up challenge during the summer of 2016. The challenge was to bring awareness to the alarming statistic that 22 veterans take their own lives each day. At the end of the challenge, she wanted to do more. On day 22, she decided to make a monetary donation to 22Kill, and that is when she discovered Warriors at Ease. She signed up that day to complete WAE’s training and certification so she could serve those who serve us. Gina is honored to serve as your teacher. She is looking forward to meeting you!
