Our adventures are perfect for all ages. Everyone can experience a “EUREKA!” moment while participating in our gold mining experience and activities. No “gold miner” goes home empty handed, and no two piles of gold bearing PayDirt are alike.
Take home the best souvenir from Lost Dutchman’s Duisenburg Gold Mining Camp — real GOLD! Share the experience of mining for gold, it’s great family fun! Our friendly miners will help your family or group get the most out of your mining adventure.
About This Event
Lost Dutchman’s – Duisenburg Gold Camp will host this event. Duisenburg Camp is located right in the Mojave Gold Belt in Randsburg, California. This picturesque Southern California high desert Camp will be serene until Digger’s Backhoe Push Dig Outing gets underway!
This event is OPEN to EVERYONE. So, bring your family, friends, neighbors, and/or coworkers. Have fun playing in the dirt together, while mining for gold!
The event will officially kick off at 7:30am, Friday, December 30th, 2022, and end at 4:00pm, Sunday, January 1st, 2023. The gold mining site will be available from 8:00am Friday till 3:00pm Sunday. After that the backhoe will reclaim the area per Bureau of Land Management standards.
What is a Digger’s Gold Mining Push Dig?
Lost Dutchman’s will use a backhoe to dig gold bearing material at a chosen area and stockpile it for the participants. Participants, using their own equipment, have access to the “PayDirt” and all the gold they recover is theirs to keep. You don’t have any gold mining equipment? No worries, we have a limited supply available for rent. Please make arrangements for equipment rental at the time of your registration. All rental equipment is on a first come first served basis.
There will also be fun evening activities hosted at the camp.
Registration Deadline
Registration/payment deadline is December 20, 2022. Participation in this exclusive event is LIMITED TO 50 PARTICIPANTS ONLY. Don’t miss out, sign up early to guarantee your spot for this exciting fun-filled event.
Primitive dry camping sites are available for an additional fee. They are based on availability and are reserved on a first come first served basis. If you’d like to reserve your site, please call (760) 793-8072 as soon as possible.
Fee structure:
• LDMA Members: $100 per participant
• Non-LDMA Members: $200 per participant
What to Bring:
Photo ID (LDMA Membership Card if applicable) – Camping Equipment – Clothing for all types of weather – Comfortable Shoes / Boots – Sun Screen, sunglasses, hat – Mosquito repellant / Benadryl- Food, personal snacks and water- Cash or credit card! Enter our fundraisers, games or other exciting things! Fun Adventurous Attitude!
Mining Equipment:
– Gloves- Rain Gear- Shovels, rakes, pry bar- Buckets- Water to stay hydrated- Tubs, Classifiers, Pans, Etc.- Drywasher / Recirculator
ATV/UTV (Not Required but Helpful – may need California Offroad Tag)- Gas Fuel Can(s) – filled
Liability Waiver & Miners
When registering online, all participants need to click & accept the terms of the liability waiver. Waiver forms will also be available at the event.
