Operation Future Forces | Zoom and Facebook Live

This event will be through Zoom and Facebook live. Instructions will be with the bag that is passed out.
About this Event
The event will be kicked off via Zoom on Fri 23 April at 11 am with a video of the Mile High Honor Guard posting the colors for the National Anthem, followed by a live introduction from Col Chellgren and Chief Devall welcoming the children and expressing to them the importance of family and understanding what their parents go through. Col Chellgren will ask the children to raise their right hands and he’ll swear them in. After that, we’ll play the video of the OFF Show, which starts with Buck Lee receiving a briefing from MSgt Jackson about the training he’s about to endure.
o Land Mobile Radio (LMR) training from the IT Flight
o Tour the Fire Dept and get some hands-on fire extinguisher training
o Mile High Honor Guard will instruct him on marching and saluting
o K9 demonstration at the Security Forces dog kennels
o Chemical Gear demonstration from the CBRNE folks at CE
o Big vehicle demonstration from the Dirt Boys at CE
o Bomb suit and robot demonstration from the 140th EOD
o Shooting demonstration from the CATM instructors at Security Forces
o PT workout from the Personal trainers at the Fitness Center
o MRE Cooking Class (each child at home will have their own MRE to follow along)
Please send in pictures/videos of your child/children’s to FSSMarketing460@gmail.com for a contest and the child that dresses up and interacts more than the other children will win a prize.
Military dependents ages 5-17 are eligible to participate, regardless of the parent’s military status. Each child will have their own “deployment bag”, filled with toys and their MRE and these can be picked up 14-20 April at A/G&FRC in bldg. 606.
