SCORE Rhode Island’s most popular workshop series returns to the Providence Public Library this spring with six sessions designed to sharpen the skills of local small business owners. It’s also an excellent education for anyone thinking of starting a business.

Starting March 29th and running for 6 consecutive Saturdays, experienced SCORE mentors will cover the fundamentals of business including marketing, finance, strategic planning, funding, and basic sales in 90-minute sessions.

This program assists experienced and newbie businesspeople in creating a Business Model Canvas (BMC) to assess the different moving parts of their business or business idea that in turn enables better decision-making and best practices.
