CALLING ALL STUDENTS 6TH – 12TH GRADE
This event is especially for middle to high school students to give them a taste of STEM careers. Each teacher/chaperone can register up to 10 students.
Lunch will be provided.

The event will include:
1. Outdoor hands-on exhibits from companies and sponsors from the Houston area
2. Indoor workshops led by Flight Museum Staff with engaging hands-on lessons connecting classroom content to real world applications. (sciences, math, technical reading)
3. A tour of the Flight Museum that inspires curiosity in many career fields in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
4. Box lunches and beverages made available during your visit
Schedule of events:
From 9 am – 3pm, Saturday, October 2nd!!
Each group should plan 2 to 3 hours each. (1 hour for a Flight Museum STEM Tour and 1-2 hours for visiting outdoor STEM booth displays and lunch.)
There are 2 times to choose from: Group 1 (9:00am – 11:30am) or Group 2 (12:00pm – 2:30pm)
Assortment of box lunches and beverages are provided for all or you are welcome to bring your own lunch.

Lone Star Flight Museum The Lone Star Flight Museum is a 501(c)(3) aviation museum and STEM learning center with a mission to preserve, educate and inspire. Led by CEO, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Douglas H. Owens, LSFM’s new $38 million state of the art facility at Houston’s Ellington Airport opened September 16, 2017.
