Silkies Invasion – Waco Texas

We are hosting a hike focused on boosting the morale and camaraderie of our veteran population. All veterans are welcome to attend.
About this Event
The Heart of Texas Marine Corp League Detachment 975 and The Vet Struggle are hosting the Silkies Invasion event that is focused on bringing awareness to veteran suicide and the overall mental health of our veteran community. Times can be difficult while adjusting to the civilian world, but we are here to help. This event can be a great way for you to network to other veterans from across the nation. We welcome all veterans to attend the hikes. Only veterans are allowed to participate in the hike, but if non-veterans are able to volunteer in assisting with ensuring the participants are in good health among the hike and during the stops.
