A workshop presented by the Veterans of Foreign Wars open to all US Military Veterans and their families to learn about survivor benefits.
Too often families of Veterans have to struggle to understand VA benefits during a challenging time. Many Veteran survivors go without benefits due to ignorance or misinformation. It is important to take the time to understand what is available when the Veteran passes and prepare for the inevitable.
This workshop will discuss the following:
- Monthly monetary benefits paid to survivors
- Burial and memorial benefits
- Heath care benefits
- Education benefits
- Bereavement counseling
