THE PANDA PROJECT “A Walk to End Veteran Suicide” – Eagle’s Healing Nest Sauk Centre Minnesota

THE PANDA PROJECT is in honor of SGT Cody Lee Randall, who on April 3, 2020 lost his battle with mental illness and took his own life. Melony Butler and The Eagles Healing Nest reached out to the Randall family with love and healing through this difficult time. They were able to experience, first hand, the love and support that The Nest gives to our Veterans and their families. The Nest is not government supported and they run 100% from donations. The Randall family, in gratitude for the help and healing that they received, want to give back to The Nest and at the same time bring awareness to this epidemic of Veteran suicide. 22 Veterans take their lives EVERYDAY! This walk is to honor them and the families and friends who loved them!!
The day’s schedule will include:
1:00 PM-Registration and Silent Auction will open. Memory Flags, Gold Stars and Tee Shirts will be available for purchase.
2:00 PM-Opening Ceremony with introductions of guests and speakers.
3:00 PM-4:30 PM-Walk
(Tours of The Eagles Healing Nest will also be included during this time)
4:30 PM-5:00 PM-Dinner served
5:30 PM-Closing Ceremony and Silent Auction ends.
Cost to participate is $20 and includes THE PANDA PROJECT Tee Shirt. All money raised at this event will go directly to The Eagles Healing Nest.
