UCF IEPRS 2nd Annual Conference – UCF FAIRWINDS Alumni Center – Orlando
February 25 @ 1:00 pm EST
One event on February 26, 2022 at 5:30 pm
The UCF Institute of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation Science 2nd Annual Conference will bring together researchers, scholars, clinicians, and athletes to exchange ideas that advance the field of sport and exercise physiology and reconsider how rehabilitation care is provided. The focus of this year’s conference is Finding Strength: Drawing Synergies from Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation. To leverage the distinct benefits of in-person and virtual conferences, we are excited to offer the flexibility of a hybrid event. The in-person event will be held at the UCF FAIRWINDS Alumni Center, whereas those wanting a virtual experience will be provided a Zoom link. Experts in their field will deliver the latest science on topics related to exercise oncology, maintaining muscle mass during spaceflight, nutritional considerations for female athletes, knee rehabilitation, the surprising health benefits of creatine supplementation, and much more. Other exciting aspects of our conference include:
- A Friday preconference workshop with hands-on learning in our Institute labs.
- CEU availability from major professional organizations.
- A lecture by Dr. Robert Newton (Edith Cowan University) utilizing hologram technology.
- Low registration costs for students and UCF alumni.
Whether you are a student, scientist, casual weekend warrior, or veteran in the clinic, this conference has something for you!
Our team has worked hard to put together a world class event. We hope to see you, either in-person or virtually, at our 2nd Annual Conference!
