About this Event

Pandemic knock your business over or did you lose your job & want to start your own?

No matter what stage your business is in, VFEP offers resources and learning paths to help you succeed.

We will equip you with the tools you need to successfully launch and operate. Whether you’re exploring an idea or growing an existing venture, we offer training and connect you with resources (i.e. LivePlan), mentors, and networking opportunities. Our participants have received numerous awards and national coverage for their success.

Register for our first informational meeting of the 2020-2021 VFEP kickoff where we will hear from our two cohort instructors that have successfully taught the program for 5 years in a row & last years winner of the VF Pitch Compeition, Steve Edwards.

Steve Edwards, founder & owner of Premier Virtual, is a Veteran of the 82nd Airborne Division. He has been in sales leadership for over 15 years across multiple verticals and products. In 2019 he started Premier Virtual to conduct virtual events that grew tremendously during the pandemic.

Steve was the winner of the 2020 FL Veterans Expo Pitch Competition that took place in Orlando with 7 other major universities in the state of Florida. His platform quickly rose up the rankings in the top virtual event platforms in the Country. When Steve started the VFEP, he was still in startup and development mode. Currently, Premier Virtual is now on a 2.4M run rate.

Since then an article in Florida Trends magazine was written about his business venture & the FAU Tech Runway also offered him a rent-free space for a year.
