Overview

On September 21, 2024, from 0900 to 1530, the Jacksonville Veterans Chamber of Commerce will host its first inaugural event, Veterans Business Summit, with doors opening at 0800. This business gathering aimed to educate, empower, and sustain Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Purpose

To provide veteran business owners with innovative and informative resources that span three crucial tracks:

1. Supplier Diversity
2. Access to Capital
3. Business Foundations

There are several sessions to choose from; the full agenda will be out in August.

Attendance

The event is free for veteran business owners and vendors, while civilian vendors ($200) and participants pay ($25) entrance fee. Impressively, 90% of the proceeds will be allocated to two veteran nonprofits, and several grants will be awarded at the end of the event to diverse VOSB/SDVOSB attendees. An application window will be advertised starting August 1st-30th.
