"Veteran's Day" Seminar - Sharonville Convention Center (Cincinnati)
The annual “Friends to the Indigent” Veteran’s Day Seminar has a new date! Join us on December 13, 2021 for this educational event.

“Friends to the Indigent” is a 501(c)(3) organization formed to assist training and educational needs of lawyers who provide legal representation to the indigent people in our community accused of crimes.

In cooperation with the Hamilton County Public Defender Office,” Friends” is hosting an all day CLE seminar at the Sharonville Convention Center on Monday December 13th 2021. The Program will feature: Steven Bright, Executive Director of the Southern Center for Human Rights; Attorney Lisa Wayne, Executive Director of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; Drew Findling, criminal defense attorney from Atlanta, Georgia who was recently featured in the New York Times as the “Billion Doller Lawyer”; Cynthia Roseberry, Deputy Director of Policy, Justice Division at ACLU; Angela Chang, Director of the Juvenile division for the Hamilton County Public Defender’s Office; and First District Court of Appeals Judge Pierre Bergeron.

While many of the day’s attendees are criminal defense lawyers and the underlying focus is on criminal cases, civil litigation attorneys will benefit a great deal by attending. Using data in litigation, jury deselection techniques, telling your client’s story and brain development issues in young adults are among the topics planned. All the presenters are trial lawyers who are entertaining, informative and skilled. Any attorney will find this program worthwhile.
