FreeVeterans, Family, and Friends Free Writer’s workshop in preparation for our 3rd book project to be released in 2023.
JOIN US!!! Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 12 Noon to 2 pm for MIWVE’s Veterans, Family & Friends Writers Workshop Event at the Walter Durkee – American Legion Post 311 in Grand Rapids MI. We are preparing for our next Veteran’s Voices United Book Project to be released in 2023.
Our Founder Sgt. Stephanie Shannon is the Author of the Amazon Best-Selling Book “Battling the Storm Within” Battling the Storm Within and the Author of Our Voices United Women Veterans Anthology book vol 1, along with 9 other women veteran authors that share their stories within it. Our Voices United: USA Women Veterans Break Silence Vol.1
Sgt. Shannon will be our instructor for this event and will present the book project plan opportunity and provide professional hands-on story-writing instruction for those present and willing to participate in the 3rd book. The 3rd book will include short stories/poems from veterans of all eras, their families, and friends as well.
This is a great opportunity for those interested in being a published author and telling their story their truth and for family and friends who love their veteran and want to tell their stories through their own lens and life experiences as well.
