VHSF War Dog Memorial March

Did you know that US Military Service dogs are legally considered US Military Veterans? Bring your family and fur babies to honor them!
Participants and family members will walk their pooches on PSTCC’s 1 mile paved walking loop that meanders around a beautiful lake while learning about “War Dogs” and our plans to honor them!
Registration fee covers the dog (humans walk for free!) and includes an Event Bandanna for the dog, event shirts for humans will available for purchase on site. Proceeds will support the construction the Military Working Dog Heritage Museum and the commissioning of a War Dog Monument at the new French Broad Veterans Park, which will overlook the National Cemetery on John Sevier Highway

Registration and check-in starts at 1:00, the festivities start at 2:00 and the walk steps off at 2:30. This year’s Grand Marshall is K ox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs. Young Williams will be on site with ADOPTABLE DOGS!
PLEASE BRING an unopened package of DOG TREATS TO SUPPORT YOUNG WILLIAMS NO KILL ANIMAL SHELTER!
Be sure to use the GROUP REGISTRATION option if you are bringing MORE than ONE dog!
