Join us as we cover state initiatives and issues that directly impact businesses. This event will focus on the the work of the SC Department of Veterans’ Affairs and is presented by Secretary William Grimsley.
Secretary Grimsley Bio:
William Grimsley, after a 33 year career in the US Army and retiring in 2013 as a Major General, would later become the first Secretary of the SC Department of Veterans’ Affairs by unanimous vote in 2020. With extensive officer education, leadership training, and experience in the private sector, Secretary Grimsley, and his team, serve Veterans and their families throughout the state by offering direct assistance and informing state and local leaders on matters pertinent to Veterans. He currently lives with his wife, Jan, in Beaufort, SC where they enjoy boating, kayaking, fishing, and the beach.
