Volunteer Workday at Veterans’ Cemetery
Join the City of Sonoma for a Volunteer Workday at Veterans’ Cemetery. We invite all community members to join us in preserving and maintaining our cherished cemeteries: Mountain Cemetery, Valley Cemetery, and Veteran’s Cemetery.
When: November 4th, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
We understand everyone’s schedule varies, and you’re not obligated to commit to the entire three hours. Volunteers are welcome to join at their convenience and leave as necessary.
These workdays are carefully tailored to the specific needs of each cemetery and are scheduled throughout late summer and fall. Our tasks will encompass a wide range of activities, including revitalizing the landscape, weed control, landscaping projects, border restoration, plot reinstatement, and other crucial maintenance tasks.
