This family friendly event is put on by the Washington State Veterans Employee Resource Group (VERG). The VERG is dedicated to helping recruit and retain veterans and their family members into state service. We feel a move into state government is a vary natural transition from military life. State employment offers very competitive pay and benefits packages as well as an added bonus of structure and comradery that many find similar to military life.
