Bring your family and friends. The Lakeville Lions Club will be hosting their Annual Fly-In Breakfast at Airlake Airport on Sunday\, July 5th from 7:00 am -11:00 am. This event attracts flyers from all over Minnesota and one from Wisconsin! This is one of those times when pilots will spend hundreds of dollars on fuel just for breakfast!! It costs nothing to come out and experience aviation with your own eyes and ears. Free admission and free parking for this great event. \n2026 Event Highlights \nBreakfast Updates \nNew for 2026 – Veterans and Active-Duty Personnel eat FREE! \nThe Lakeville Lions would like to thank our Veterans and Active-Duty Personnel by serving a complimentary breakfast at our event as a small thank you for your service. Military ID Required\, Advance Ticket not available (Tickets provided at the door upon check-in). \nTickets purchased in advance by June 30th will receive a discount of $2 per adult ticket and $1 for kids ages 5-12 ticket. Regular priced tickets go on sale July 1st; tickets will be sold on-line and can be purchased at the event via cash or credit card. \nDue to the generous support of Aloft Aviation\, the Lions are able to offer parents a free meal for kids 4 and under with each paid adult meal. The Lions thank our great hosts at Aloft Aviation for providing the funds to support our free meal program for kids 4 and under at this great community event. \nGET YOUR TICKETS NOW  \nVehicle Parking \nUpon entrance to airport – Drivers are encouraged to drop your group at the designated drop-off/pick-up area and then continue to the general parking area where you can catch a shuttle back to the hangar courtesy of MOR Golf and Utility \nHandicap & Motorcycle parking is located on the north side next to the hangar (Earhart Lane)\, look for signage as you approach the hangar area. \nLions will be providing golf cart shuttle rides to and from the parking area. \nAircraft Parking \nUpon landing\, pilots will be directed to park on ramp on the north side of the airport as there is limited ramp parking available on the south side. Shuttle transportation will be provided to pilot and guests parking on the north side of the runway. \nAttractions for 2026 \nT-6 Thunder Team \nThe T-6 Thunder flight team is a Minnesota-based precision flying group that performs formation flyovers in historic World War II-era North American T-6 Texan aircraft. Founded to honor veterans\, the team frequently performs at community events. The team will be bringing in 4 T-6’s into Airlake for a fly-by and landing. The action begins between 8am-9am. \nState Patrol Helicopter and Many other planes \nOnce again\, we expect the Minnesota State Patrol to drop in with their helicopter which is always a hit with the kids. As always\, we expect many Sunday Morning Flyers to drop in and say hi with their private aircraft. \nPaint the Plow and Paint the Plane \nThe Metropolitan Airport Commission (MAC) will again be hosting the “Paint the Plow” event during breakfast where they will also have the airport’s heavy equipment on display. \nAlso\, back again this year\, kids will also have a chance to “Paint the Plane” once the kids have finished their work\, the plane will travel through the Pan-O-Prog parade the following Saturday \nDetails & Directions \nPro Tip: Best time to eat with very small wait time is between 7:00am and 8:30am \nThe event will be held at the Aloft Aviation Jet Hangar located on the south side of the airport property\, travel south on Cedar to 225th Street; west on 225th St. to Maynard Ln; follow Maynard Ln to parking area. \nBreakfast includes pancakes\, eggs\, sausage links\, Entenmann’s pastries\, milk\, OJ\, and Dunn Brothers Fresh Brewed coffee. \nPre-Sale Tickets (On-Line Purchase ends June 30): $14 for adults\, $8 for kids ages 5-12\, and kids 4 and under free (1 free with each paid adult) \nRegular Event Day Tickets (On-Line Purchase Starts July 1): $16 for adults\, $9 for kids ages 5-12\, and kids 4 and under free (1 free with each paid adult) \nThe pilot-in-command (PIC) of airplanes that fly in are provided with a free breakfast. \nAs noted above\, individual veterans and Active-Duty Personnel eat FREE! \nLast year\, we had over 2\,500 join us for this great event!
