🇺🇸 Happy Heavenly Birthday to Joe Flaherty (June 21, 1941 – April 1, 2024) who served in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1962 before becoming a beloved comedian and actor. He became famous for his work on SCTV and for his memorable role as the heckling fan in Happy Gilmore. We remember Joe Flaherty today and celebrate the legacy he left behind both on screen and through his military service.
🇺🇸 Happy 91st Birthday to Monte Markham! Born on June 21, 1935, Markham served as a United States Coast Guard officer for ten years before launching a successful acting career. Best known for The Second Hundred Years and numerous television appearances, Monte continues to be recognized as both a talented actor and proud veteran.
🇺🇸 Happy 93rd Birthday to Bernie Kopell! Born on June 21, 1933, Kopell served in the United States Navy, including duty at Naval Air Station Norfolk and aboard the battleship USS Iowa (BB-61). After his service, he became famous for his roles in Get Smart and as Dr. Adam Bricker on The Love Boat. Today we celebrate his remarkable career, military service, and 93rd birthday.
