Best remembered as the unforgettable Miss Jane Hathaway on The Beverly Hillbillies, Nancy Kulp served during World War II as a member of the U.S. Naval Reserve and the WAVES (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) before beginning the acting career that would make her a television favorite.
⭐ Donald O’Connor
Born: August 28, 1925
Died: September 27, 2003
The legendary singer, dancer and actor delighted generations with performances including Cosmo Brown in Singin’ in the Rain and his popular Francis the Talking Mule films. During World War II, O’Connor put his entertainment career on hold to serve in the United States Army.
