Military Appreciation Surf Fishing Day May 16th

Military Appreciation Surf Fishing Day!

Event: Military Appreciation Surf Fishing Day
Date: May 16,2015
Where: Herring Point Beach in Cape Henlopen State Park (Delaware)
Time: 8 am (ish)

We will have rides available to take people to the beach via volunteers and the The Barnacle. This is not a party this is a fishing event.

Jim Haug is organizing this and DSF is going help as much as possible. I know a lot of my friends will help out with this. This is for all military branches, active duty and veterans. Your families are welcome to come along as well. This is a family event.

ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL (This is not a party) We know some of us enjoy a few beers while fishing we do not want to give the impression we are having a kegger on the beach. We will also be taking video for the Delaware Surf Fishing Outdoors and More TV show, and interviewing a few people.

To all my fellow outdoors ladies/gentlemen (Mr. Jim Haug) is the one putting together a surf fishing day to honor our Military Personnel. Looking for individuals who would be interested in participating in sharing a fun day in the sand fishing.

Volunteers-must have their own fishing license, surf tag & 4 wheel drive for the beach, extra poles to be used by military personnel, bait would be appreciated. DSF will help supply what they can. If you have any loaners feel free to mention that in an email. Military Personnel must have your own fishing license.

If you have any questions message Jim at Jim.haug@comcast.net

We need RSVPs from both volunteers and military by April 24 2015 in your RSVP please let me know if you want to volunteer or are military member. Email Jim at Jim.haug@Comcast.net. You can also email DSF  http://delaware-surf-fishing.com/ and we will pass it on to Ji.

Thank you all for your service and we hope to see you out there.
