NASA/MSFC HUBZone Small Business Industry Day

NASA LogoOn June 9-10, 2014, MSFC will serve as host of two very important events, an Exploration Systems Development Update on June 9, and NASA/MSFC HUBZone Small Business Industry Day on June 10. Both events will be held at the Huntsville Museum of Art located at 300 Church St. SW in downtown Huntsville, Alabama. Companies can register for either event or both at the registration sites below:

Exploration Systems Development Update

The Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) would like to extend an invitation to the small business community to attend an Exploration System Development (ESD) update scheduled for June 9, 2014 at the Huntsville Museum of Art located on 300 Church Street SW in Huntsville, Alabama. The event will begin with registration at 12:30 p.m., and adjourn at 4:30 p.m. There will also be a social following the update from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

NASA’s ESD programs are building America’s new crew capsule, the world’s most powerful rocket, and ground systems and infrastructure to enable human exploration throughout deep space. The Orion spacecraft, Space Launch System, and a modernized Kennedy Spaceport will support missions to multiple deep space destinations including our Moon and beyond, asteroids, Mars, and across our solar system. During this event, top managers from ESD and supporting programs will provide an update on latest accomplishments and future plans.

NASA/MSFC HUBZone Small Business Industry Day
The MSFC Procurement/Small Business Office would like to extend an invitation to the Small Business community to attend the NASA/MSFC HUBZone Small Business Industry Day scheduled for June 10, 2014 at the Huntsville Museum of Art on 300 Church Street SW in Huntsville, Alabama. This event will begin with registration at 7:00 a.m., and conclude at 1:00 p.m.

At the event, businesses will have an opportunity to network with NASA Office of Small Business Program staff, NASA Small Business Specialists from each center, Marshall Small Business Technical Coordinators, and MSFC Small and Large business prime contractors. There will also be several workshops conducted during the event including a NASA acquisition forecast update and two HUBZone Small Business Program overviews. There will be a $25 charge to attend this event (Government employees attending event are exempt).

Due to limited seating, registration for both events will be handled on a first come first serve basis, and it is requested that companies limit their number to no more than three attendees per company for the HUBZone event.
