RED Friday: Remember Everyone Deployed — Honoring Our Gold Star Mothers & Families This Sunday

RED Friday Remember Everyone Deployed — Honoring Our Gold Star Mothers & Families This Sunday

RED FRIDAY — REMEMBER EVERYONE DEPLOYED 🇺🇸

Today, we wear RED to Remember Everyone Deployed and to let the men and women serving our country around the world know that they are not forgotten.

Every Friday is an opportunity to pause and remember the Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, Airmen, Guardians, National Guard members and Reservists who are away from their families while serving our nation.

Wear RED. Remember Everyone Deployed. Support those who serve. 🇺🇸

⭐ This Sunday is also Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day.

Gold Star Mother’s Day is observed each year on the last Sunday in September. The observance dates back to 1936, when Congress designated the last Sunday of September as a day to honor and remember Gold Star Mothers. In more recent years, presidential proclamations have recognized the day as Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day, honoring not only Gold Star Mothers but the families of our nation’s fallen service members.

This year, the observance falls on Sunday, September 27, 2026.

On this solemn day, we honor the mothers and families of America’s fallen service members — families who carry the memory of their loved ones and have endured a sacrifice that can never truly be repaid.

As we remember those currently deployed this RED Friday, we also hold close the Gold Star Mothers and Families whose loved ones made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

To our deployed service members: We remember you.

To our Gold Star Mothers and Families: We honor you, your sacrifice and the memory of your loved ones.

🇺🇸 Never Forget. Always Remember.
