SBA To Host Veterans Small Business Forum January 9th

The Small Business Administration will host a Veterans Small Business Forum at Carroll Community College in Westminster, MD on Wednesday, Jan. 9.

Small business experts from federal, state, and local organizations will participate in a forum to help veterans start and grow their own businesses. The forum is geared towards U.S. military veterans, their spouses, and active duty, guard, and reservists who own, or are interested in starting, small businesses.

The forum will feature panel discussions of interest to existing, or prospective small business owners.

Here are some of the planned highlights:
1.  Discover small business resources available to veterans;
2.  Meet face to face with representatives who can help you get started, or help you take your business to the next level;
3.  Network, get connected and grow your business.
The event will take place at Carroll Community College in room M157/159 on Jan. 9 from 9:30 a.m. until noon.

Registration and welcome begins at 9:30 a.m.  The opening session: Vet’s Government Resources begins at 10 a.m., All About Money (Financing) begins at 10:40 a.m. and an Information Trade Fair begins at 11:10 a.m.
