The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) plans to host a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Matchmaking Collaboration. The purpose is to provide insightful information to SDVOSB small business owners on how to successfully do business with the government. It is a unique opportunity to listen, learn, and network. The focus is on helping SDVOSB small business owners in navigating the changing and challenging government acquisition world. The event will begin with opening remarks followed by four successive breakout learning sessions in addition to pre-arranged, concurrent 15-minute matchmaking appointments. SDVOSB’s will be matched using their company’s primary NAICs Code with program personnel who may have possible future requirements.

PURPOSE: Provide information to small businesses that are SDVOSB’s to successfully do business with the government.
COST: Free
REGISTRATION: You must be a SDVOSB to register for this event. To register, send an e-mail to Josiah.DelToro@opm.gov with “Registration for July 31, 2013 SDVOSB Event” in the subject line.
Registration will open at June 26, 2013 at 12:00 PM and will close either when we reach our capacity limit or by July 17 at 12:00 PM. Registrations received prior to the 12:00 PM open time will not be acknowledged.
Space is limited to 150 companies or 200 persons. We ask that a maximum of two people from each business attend. You will receive confirmation about your registration via e-mail once you are registered. The confirmation e-mail will provide security information and other necessary information. YOU MUST receive a confirming e-mail to attend, and we ask that you bring a copy of the confirmation with you on July 31th (no exceptions). Registration requests will not be taken by telephone.
Event registration is on a first contact basis until the 150 person limit is obtained.
Note: Please ensure that you arrive before 9 AM and with your e-mail registration confirmation printed out for verification at our registration tables on the day of the event. There will be no admittance after 9:30 AM.
