Titusville to host first-ever Veterans & Seniors Health Fair – April 29
Titusville will host the First Annual Veterans & Seniors Health Fair on Friday, April 29th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Indian River Civic Center located 4220 South Hopkins Avenue, Titusville, Florida.
This event became one of the largest health fairs in South Brevard with over 1500 attendees last March at the Melbourne Auditorium. April 29th event will be the first time this health fair will be hosted at the Indian River Civic Center in Titusville.
“We are very excited to be bringing this Health Fair to the Titusville area,” said Nina Verruso, Event Chair. “There are so many veterans and senior citizens living without the help they need. It is important to bring resources to them so that they know what is available, if not for them, maybe for a friend, neighbor, or a loved one.”
Presented by Vitas Healthcare and local senior and veteran organizations, this Free event will provide attendees with free health screenings, free hearing screenings, free blood sugar tests, free blood pressure screenings as well as hospice concept, special programs for seniors personal safety, Medicare protection and insurance programs. The. Naval Sea Cadet will perform a Color Guard Opening Ceremony at 10 am.
The first 250 Attendees will receive a free goody bag and enjoy food, Dessert, refreshments and a chance to win fabulous prizes.
